Like the inexorable forming of the red sandstone sediments that outline our picturesque view, slowly but surely, Pita Jungle, which opened its first location in 1994, grew out of layers of delicious, artsy, and super healthy food.

Nestled near the majestic Red Mountain in Mesa, Arizona, our Mediterranean restaurant is a haven of fun, energy, and chic vibes. At Pita Jungle, we’ve cultivated a menu that’s as vibrant as the Red Mountain itself, offering a delightful fusion of flavors and fresh ingredients that will transport your taste buds to the shores of the Mediterranean.

Our cozy, flower-filled setting is perfect for those seeking a taste of the exotic while surrounded by local charm. With a menu bursting with nutritious options like grilled salmon, colorful salads, and our signature pitas, you’ll embark on a culinary journey that nourishes both body and soul.

Join us at our Mesa Red Mountain location, where healthy meets delicious, and artistry meets flavor. Experience the Mediterranean in a whole new way, and be part of the forever story at Pita Jungle.

FEATURED ART

Joshua Kornexl

Joshua J Kornexl is a veteran of the armed services and currently teaches English Language Arts at Andersen Junior High School in Chandler, Arizona. The literary influences can be seen in many of his paintings which include references to authors such as Hunter S. Thompson and Jack Kerouac as well as other artists like Frida Kahlo.
The artist believes that the subjective experience is something that anyone can do – not scientific, objective observations but inner, subjective ones, and like the artist Franz Marc and the other colorism artists he subscribes to the idea that maleness, spirituality, wisdom and depth are represented in the colors blue, femininity and sensuality in yellow, and terrestrial materiality to red.
